Oro roasts in batches of twelve kilos in a former bakery in Porto. The new packaging had to scale from one blend to twelve without losing its handmade warmth.

Three Oro coffee bags in ochre, sage and terracotta on a wooden shelf with a cup

The challenge

Twelve coffees, three roast levels and a two-person team — the system had to be easy enough to print in-house and distinctive enough to stand out on a crowded shelf.

The approach

One circle per bag, coloured by origin. A single serif wordmark. Everything else is set in a strict grid the team fills in themselves with a stamp and a label printer.
